Mounds View City Council July 25, 2005 <br />Regular Meeting Page 21 <br />• provided he would agree witfi Ms. Lidinski as a candidate. <br />Council Member Thomas stated that she agrees with Ms. Lidinski due to her broad background. <br />Council Member Thomas volunteered to be the City Council representative for the Northwest <br />Area Library Access Task Force noting that she does so with some reservation and bias towards <br />lnsey County. She stated that it is her feeling that Ramsey County has already made their <br />decisions and selections. <br />Council Member Flaherty stated that he would like to nominate Council Member Sherry Gunn as <br />the Council representative for the Northwest Area Library Access Task Force. He explained that <br />he would like a representative from the Council that goes in without reservations and an open <br />mind. <br />Council Member Gunn stated that she would have the time to devote to the Task Force and <br />suggested that Council Member Thomas be her backup. <br />Council Member Thomas and Mayor Marty thanked the residents for their timely response to the <br />call for volunteers on this task force. <br />MOTION/SECOND. Flaherty/Marry To approve Resolution 6572 Approving the Nomination <br />and Appointment of Council Member Sherry Gunn as the Mounds View City Council <br />. Representative and Ms. Dorie Lidinski as the Mounds View Resident Representative to the <br />Northwest Area Library Access Task Force and waive the reading. <br />Ayes-5 Nays-0 Motion carried. <br />9.
