RESOLUTION NO. 6791 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CLOSING OF CITY HALL ON MAY 5, 2006, AT <br />12 NOON TO MOVE TO THE NEW MOUNDS VIEW CITY HALL FACILITY <br />WHEREAS, the City Council passed Resolution 6616 awarding the construction <br />contract, which starting the process of remodeling Mounds View City Hall; and <br />WHEREAS, the new Mounds City Hall Facility will start normal operations on <br />Monday, May 8, 2006; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends that City Hall be closed on May 5, 2006 at <br />12noon, due to the need to have everything ready for the movers on Saturday, May 6, <br />2006, to help minimize potential overtime expenses, and to avoid disruptions and <br />hazardous situations due to the move. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council authorizes <br />Mounds View City Hall to be closed on Friday, May 5, 2006 at 12noon, to get everything <br />prepared for the contract movers on Saturday, May 6, 2006. <br />Presented this 10th day of April, 2006. <br />Rob Marty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br />(seal) <br />
