Mounds View City Council November 13, 2046 Regular Meeting Page 12 View Drive. Mayor Marty indicated that he called and talked to Mr. Ulrich about this today and his question was regarding grading and the amount of fill but that question has been answered. He then said that the existing house and garage extend farther back onto the property than the new house proposed to be built so it is moving away from the wetland area. Mayor Marty asked how much fill will be brought in and how that will impact the back yard. Director Ericson explained that they need to grade to take out the foundation of the old home but very little grading beyond that would be done in the back yard. He then said that with this change part of the drainage will go to Pleasant View Drive rather than having it all flow to Spring Creek as it does now. Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. G. Resolution 6963, Approving the Sale of Surplus Police Radio Equipment Council Member Stigney said he was curious how many radios are involved here and what other equipment is involved. Chief Summer explained that it is 19 portable radios and about 11 squad radios, cables and equipment, and the old mobile digital terminals were included. Council Member Stigney said that he feels that Staff got a good bid for this equipment. MOTION/SECOND: Stigney/Gunn. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 6963, Approving the Sale of Surplus Police Radio Equipment. Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. H. Resolution 6959, Setting a Public Improvement Hearing Date for the 2007 - 2008 Street and Utility Improvement Project Council Member Flaherty said that he wanted to take any opportunity to announce to the Community that there is a hearing date for a street and utility improvement project. He then said that the date is December 11, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. Council Member Flaherty read the tentative schedule for the project. MOTION/SECOND: Flaherty/Thomas.
