Mounds View City Council November 13, 2046 <br />Regular Meeting Page 12 <br />View Drive. <br />Mayor Marty indicated that he called and talked to Mr. Ulrich about this today and his question <br />was regarding grading and the amount of fill but that question has been answered. He then said <br />that the existing house and garage extend farther back onto the property than the new house <br />proposed to be built so it is moving away from the wetland area. <br />Mayor Marty asked how much fill will be brought in and how that will impact the back yard. <br />Director Ericson explained that they need to grade to take out the foundation of the old home but <br />very little grading beyond that would be done in the back yard. He then said that with this <br />change part of the drainage will go to Pleasant View Drive rather than having it all flow to Spring <br />Creek as it does now. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />G. Resolution 6963, Approving the Sale of Surplus Police Radio Equipment <br />Council Member Stigney said he was curious how many radios are involved here and what other <br />equipment is involved. <br />Chief Summer explained that it is 19 portable radios and about 11 squad radios, cables and <br />equipment, and the old mobile digital terminals were included. <br />Council Member Stigney said that he feels that Staff got a good bid for this equipment. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Stigney/Gunn. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 6963, <br />Approving the Sale of Surplus Police Radio Equipment. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />H. Resolution 6959, Setting a Public Improvement Hearing Date for the 2007 - <br />2008 Street and Utility Improvement Project <br />Council Member Flaherty said that he wanted to take any opportunity to announce to the <br />Community that there is a hearing date for a street and utility improvement project. He then said <br />that the date is December 11, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. <br />Council Member Flaherty read the tentative schedule for the project. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Flaherty/Thomas.
