Mounds View City Council March 24, 2008 <br />Regular Meeting Page 7 <br />Council Member Mueller indicated that in a review of surrounding cities comparable to Mounds <br />View everything negotiated is pretty close in line to what other cities are doing. She then said it <br />is time for Mounds View to step up to retain and entice good people to work for the City. <br />Council Member Stigney said that these items were put in based upon the applicant himself and <br />were not part of the original contract and he has issues with the items. <br />Mayor Marty said that Mr. Ericson negotiated harder than he thought and he feels that both sides <br />compromised some and he is glad that Mr. Ericson did apply and he is happy to get this approved <br />since the choice was made February 11. <br />Ayes - 4 Nays -1(Stigney) Motion carried. <br />J. Resolution 7230 Authorizing the Advertisement for the Community <br />Development Director Position <br />Assistant Administrator Crane indicated that now that Mr. Ericson has been appointed to the <br />Clerk -Administrator position the City needs to advertise for the Community Development <br />Director position. She then said that she would like to have a candidate to recommend to <br />Council by May 26, 2008. <br />. MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Mueller. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 7230, <br />Authorizing the Advertisement for the Community Development Director Position. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />8. Set a Public Hearing for Monday, Apri114, 2008 at 7:lOpm to Consider an <br />On-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License and Restaurant License located at 2400 <br />County Road H2 for Kevin Halverson and David Tulgren (d.b.a.
