She then said that she wants to be sure that the access entrance into the <br />daycare is taken into account. <br />Staff will discuss the lane configuration with the County and local businesses. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Stigney. Resolution 7349, Approving the Intersection Design of Laporte Drive and <br />Edgewood Drive <br /> <br />The Engineer noted that the intersection of Edgewood Drive and Laporte is non-standard and <br />Staff recommends reconfiguring the intersection to improve it. The Streets and Utilities <br />Commission has reviewed and recommended approval of this intersection design. <br />Council Member Mueller said that she feels the new design would be safer for the community <br />and she is in favor of this project. <br />Mayor Marty said that, after review, this seems very logical, and thanked Joe Rhein for <br />correcting this. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 7349, a <br />Resolution Approving the Intersection Design of Laporte Drive and Edgewood Drive. <br />Ayes - 5 <br />Nays - 0 <br />Motion carried. <br />8. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS <br />Mayor Marty asked about Bonestroo on County Road 10 trail segments, and when there would <br />be more trailway constructed. <br />Finance Director Beer noted that the trail segments 1-5 project was pushed back to 2009. He <br />then said that the revised cost estimate is $1.2 down from $1.7. <br />
