RESOLUTION NO. 1265 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA 6+ RESOLUTION CERTIFYING PRE -REVIEW REQUIREMENTS OF THE METRO- POLITAN LAND PLANNING ACT FOR SUBMISSION TO METROPOLITAN COUNCIL WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Land Planning Act requires local govern- mental units to prepare comprehensive plans and submit them to the Metropolitan Council for review; and WHEREAS, this plan entitled, "Mounds View Comprehensive Plan" represents the response to the City of Mounds View to the requirements of the Metropolitan Land Planning Act; and WHEREAS, this plan was adopted by the Mounds View Planning Commis- sion on April 1, 1981, following a public hearing with required legal notice; and WHEREAS, this plan was sent to the City of Blaine, City of Spring Lake Park, City of Fridley, City of New Brighton, Village of Arden Hills, Village of Shoreview, Rice Creek Watershed District, School District #621 and Ramsey County Public Works for review and comment on September 11, 1980; and WHEREAS, this plan was considered and accepted, but not adopted, jy the CiLy of Mounds View on April 13, 1981; and WHEREAS, a notice will be sent to the City of Blaine, City of Spring Lake Park, City of Fridley, City of New Brighton, Village of Arden Hills, Village of Shoreview, Rice Creek Watershed District, School Dis- trict #621 and Ramsey County Public Works that the City of Mounds View is submitting its plan to the Metropolitan Council for formal review under the Metropolitan Land Planning Act; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View that the Mayor is authorized and directed to submit this plan to the Chairman of the Metropolitan Council for review under Section 473.175 of the Metropolitan Land Planning Act.
