-2- <br />The first two items relate to changes in the airport's operating <br />procedures which will be instituted as soon as possible. The <br />third requires that action be taken by the Metropolitan Airports <br />Commission and Metropolitan Council to approve the expenditure of <br />funds for the installation of a VASI light system. This being the <br />case, it would appear appropriate for the Mounds View City Council <br />to take a position on the proposal for a VASI light system as our <br />input will be requested by the Metropolitan Airports Commission and <br />Metropolitan Council during their approval process. <br />Staff would appreciate Council direction in this matter.
