3.6 Tree and Shrub Care - To be the complete responsibility of the Contractee, exc u ing wa Bring, 311 Fall Clean-up - Fall clean up to be completed by October 30th, weather permitting, and in no instance later than November 15th. Fall clean up Lo include the following activiLies: a. Raking of leaves and debris, as required; around buildings and obstructions. b, Removal of debris and leaves from turf areas. Do not use surrounding land for disposal sites. c. Removal from wild areas of all foreign materials, i.e. paper, refuse, etc. 3.8 General a. Grounds to be cleaned of debris and refuse once a week. 3.9 Lawn and Tree Watering - Watering of designated per attached plot to be completed to maintain adequate standards of ground moisture necessary for uniform and green appearances. Watering is to be completed by the contractor on an hourly rate of $ , The City of Mounds View reserves the right to control and determine hours spent, Watering to include the following activities: a. Placement and moving of hoses and sprinklers around Silver View Park to provide complete coverage of sodded outfied area. b. Sub -terrain watering of trees and shrubs, as required. The contractor is to provide an estimate of hours required per month for water- ing which will be reviewed and approved by the City of Mounds View's designated repre- «>+;,,p An actual labor log to be maintained and made available to the City upon �11. ._. request and attached to the invoice. ARTICLE 4 INSURANCE AND LIABILITY 4.1 Contractor's Insurance and Liabilit - Contractor will assume liability for damages to real estate and personal property caused by Contractor's personnel or equip- ment, if reported in writing within seventy-two (72) hours after the accident, and after inspection by Contractor to determine the validity of the claim. Contractor agrees to carry applicable insurance, and shall provide to the Contractee a Certificate of Insurance for Contractee's records. 4.2 Contractor Not Liable - Contractor is not liable for any of the following: a. Damage to planting, flowers or shrubs which are not separated by an edger, allowing routine trimming with machinery. eplacement of b damaged tby an exceptionally yharchfr rwinter, or any other shrubs, other cause of nature.
