45.01 <br />1 CHAPTER 45 <br />THE RELOCATION OF BUILDINGS <br />• 45.01. APPLICATION AND NEARING. Any person seeking to <br />locate a building In the Municipality, which was previously <br />used or occupied outside of Mounds View, shall apply to the <br />Clerk -Administrator for a hearing date. <br />45.02. CONTENTS OF APPLICATION. The applicant shall <br />supply the following: <br />(1) Legal description of the land upon which the <br />building is to be placed. <br />(2) The nature of the building to be moved, together <br />with a picture of the building. <br />(3) A certified abstract of all owners of property <br />located within 300 feet of the proposed relocation site and <br />the mailing addresses of each property owner. <br />(4) A petition signed by 75 percent of the property <br />owners within 300 feet of the proposed relocation site, <br />approving the relocation. <br />45.03. HEARING. The application together with the <br />material requested above shall be referred to the Council who <br />shall set a time and place for a public hearing giving at <br />least ten days published notice of such hearing. Mailed <br />notice shall go to all property owners within 300 feet of the <br />relocation site. <br />45.04. STATE BUILDING CODE. All of the provision of <br />Chapters 59 and 60 will be app =cable to the building to be <br />moved and said building shall conform to the provisions of <br />said chapters prior to moving into Mounds View. <br />45.05. MOVING OF BUILDING. If, under a permit from <br />the State or County Highway Department, a building is to be <br />moved through, but not from or to the Municipality, the <br />requirements of this chapter shall not be imposed, but the <br />person moving the building shall before entering Mounds View <br />notify in writing the Building Inspector of his intentions <br />to do so, setting forth in such notice the number of the <br />permit issued to him by the State or County Highway Department. <br />45.06. FEES. In addition to all fees provided by this <br />code the applicant shall pay all expenses of inspection outside <br />of Mounds View including thirty cents a mile, mileage, and <br />$15 per hour traveling time.
