RESOLUTION NO. 1551 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION NOS. 1519 AND 1547 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mounds View, on <br />December 13, 1982, adopted Resolution No. 1519 placing a freeze <br />on all employee wages and benefits; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mounds View, on <br />January 10, 1983, adopted Resolution No. 1547 authorizing continuation <br />of 1982 non -union employee wages and benefits into 1983; and <br />WHEREAS, said resolutions were adopted on the basis that the <br />City of Mounds View would be experiencing significant reductions in <br />the amount of aids paid by the State of Minnesota during 1982 and 1983; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the 1982 reductions were not as significant as <br />initially anticipated and it is anticipated that any reductions made <br />during 1983 will not be established by the Legislature prior to June <br />of 1983; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mounds View does not <br />wish to unduly burden City employees while waiting for the Legislature <br />to take action on the establishment of State Aid payment levels. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, DE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City <br />of Mounds View that Resolution Nos. 1519 and 1547 are hereby rescinded. <br />Adopted this 24th day of January, 1983. <br />ATTEST: <br />Mayor <br />(SEAL) <br />Clerk -Administrator <br />J <br />
