0.te'9 Kph <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1550 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RA14SEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 1983-84 LABOR AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE METROPOLITAN AREA MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION AND <br />I.U.O.E. LOCAL 49, AFL-CIO <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is a member of the Metropolitan <br />Area Management Association; and <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Area Management Association has been <br />negotiating with the I.U.O.E. Local 49 for the settlement of the 1983-84 <br />Labor Agreement on behalf of the City of Mounds View and various other <br />metropolitan area cities; and <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Area Management Association and <br />I.U.O.E. Local 49, AFL-CIO, reached a settlement on December 16, 1982. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City <br />of Mounds View hereby ratifies and approves the settlement reached <br />between the Metropolitan Area Management Association and I.U.O.E. Local <br />49, AFL-CIO, which contains the following conditions: <br />1. Determine the Master Labor Agreement between the <br />Metropolitan Area Management Association and I.U.O.E. <br />Local 49, AFL-CIO, shall run from January 1, 1983 <br />through December 31, 1984. <br />2. The following wage schedule shall be in effect from <br />the first payroll period in the year indicated through <br />the last payroll period of that year: <br />1983 <br />Heavy Equipment Operator $10.70 <br />Light Equipment Operator $10.25 <br />3. The Employer contribution per employee for Group Health <br />and Life Insurance, including dependent coverage,for <br />calendar year 1983 shall be to a maximum of $125.00 per <br />month. <br />4. Thirty (30) days after the date of the issuance by the <br />arbitrator of the award in the grievance arbitration case <br />PERB No. 83-PP-19-B between the City of Columbia Heights <br />and I.U.O.E. Local 49 all agreements, Master and the Local <br />Addendum, between the 23 cities represented by the Metro- <br />politan Area Management Association and I.U.O.E. Local 49 <br />shall terminate unless M.A.M.A. and I.U.O.E. Local 49 <br />mutually agree to reinstate and continue the Master Agree- <br />ment and Local Addendum. <br />
