January 18, 1983 <br />r\ ADDENDUM -1-0 '111v V0ItI•:S'I'R1' JO111'I' I)CWI.-ItS ACEI?lihfl:F1'1' BETWEEN THE <br />CITIES OP MOUNDS VIEW AND NEW BRICliTON OP MARCII 20, 1981 <br />I'urLose <br />Whereas, it i:; in the besL i.ntcrest of the Cities of Mounds View <br />and New Brighton to jointly contracL for diseased tree removal, <br />and <br />Whereas, the Ci.tics of Mounds View and Now Brighton are currently <br />cooperating in U,c delivery of other forestry services, <br />Now Therefore, it is agreed between the parties as follows: <br />The City of New Brighlou will advertise and take bids for tree <br />removal services for both Mounds View and New Brighton and <br />will enter into a contract for which services are per the <br />attached specifications which are made a part of this agreement <br />subject to ratification by Mounds View. The City of Mounds View <br />will maintain its own individual administration and support as <br />defined in the section "Administration and Clerical Support" of <br />this same Joint Powers Agreement, and Mounds View further agrees <br />to be responsible for payment to the contractor for trees removed <br />and services rendered on its behalf. The tree removal contractor <br />Will post a performance bond for the benefit of both cities in <br />the amount listed .in the above -mentioned specifications. <br />'Phis Addendum will apply for as long as the forestry Joint <br />Powers Agreement is in effect. <br />ATTEST: <br />City of Mounds View: <br />Mayor <br />Clerk -Administrator <br />(SEAT.) <br />City of Now Brighton: <br />Mayor <br />City Manager <br />
