CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />NOUNDS Vll•:W HY REPEALING CIIAP'alIt 35, ENTITLED <br />"THE FESTIVITIESCO MMISSI0N" AND ADOPTING A NEW CHAP'rlilt 35 <br />ENTITLED "MOUNDS VIEW FESTIVITIES COMMISSION" <br />Thu Council of the City of mounds View does hereby ordain: <br />SECTION I. chapter <br />35, Entitled <br />The Festivities Commission" <br />is hereby <br />SECTION II. The new Chapter 35, "Mounds View Festivities <br />Commission", is hereby adopted as follows: <br />35.01 <br />CHAPTER 35 <br />MOUNDS VIEW FESTIVITIES COMMISSION <br />35.01 purpose. <br />To promote an annual community -wide special event. <br />35.02 Composition. <br />r A nine (9) member voting board shall be appointed by the City <br />n and <br />Council from recommendations from the Festivities Chairperlicants <br />shall operate under Chapter 35 of the Municipal Code. App <br />may or may not be residents of Mounds View. <br />35.03 organization. <br />1. The first Tuesday of each month or as deemed necessary. <br />2. Vice -chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer shall be <br />appointed by the Chairperson. <br />c. Reviewal of by-laws. By-law changes, if any, should be <br />read and suggested at a meeting and can be voted <br />ontat <br />the following meeting and changed by a 2/3 voteo <br />he <br />members present. <br />q. Budget shall be prepared and submitted to the Council for <br />approval by September meeting and shall include projected <br />revenues and expenditures. The Commission shall recommend <br />to the Council uses for any donations or revenues generated <br />by the Commission. <br />
