RESOLUTION NO, 1667 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OP MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING INSTALLATION OF STREETLIGHT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has received a petition <br />from residents along Eastwood Road between Ardan Avenue and <br />County Road J requesting a streetlight in the 8400 block; and <br />WHEREAS, following staff review of possible streetlight <br />locations, the most feasible location, based on distances to <br />lights, vandalized homes and rear yard poles, is at the south- <br />east corner of property located at 8432 Eastwood Road; and <br />WHEREAS, the petition does not include the signature of <br />the property owner at 8432 Eastwood Road, whose lot is directly <br />affected by the proposed streetlight location; and <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 1354 amending Resolution No. 1069 <br />authorizes the City Council to install streetlights at locations <br />where property owners have not consented to that location, when <br />the public health, safety and welfare is a factor; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the place- <br />ment of a streetlight at 8432 Eastwood Road would be in the <br />interest of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of <br />the area. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, 8E IT RESOLVED that the City Council of <br />the City of Mounds View orders the placement of a streetlight at <br />the southeast corner of property located at 8432 Eastwood Road. <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEAL) <br />Adopted this loth day of October, 1983. <br />Mayor <br />Clerk -Administrator <br />
