Mounds View City Council n +^ " ' " " ' May 29i 1984 <br />Page <br />Regular Meeting F ve <br />--- ---- ----- ` ---------� <br />be held and that they deal mostly with affected <br />property owners. <br />Motion/Second: McCarty/Hankner to table the next two <br />ear ngs for the rezoning of 2901 and 2841 Highway 10 <br />for an indefinite period of time and authorize the <br />Planning Commission to coordinate hearings with the consulting <br />City Planner and with the affected property owners <br />as soon as possible. <br />4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Councilmember Linke had nothing to report other than 18. Report of <br />a good vacation. Councilmembers <br />Councilmember Hankner had nothing to report. <br />Councilmember Blanchard had nothing to report. <br />Mayor McCarty indicated that he was contacted by a <br />resident who has a tree on the easement and wants to <br />find out why the cable company is trimming off tree <br />tops when they are running the cable 3' below those <br />tops. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley replied that he would take <br />the name and address of the resident and refer the <br />complaint to Group W and the City's Cable Conmission <br />who, in the past, have shown to be respondent and <br />prompt in handling previous complaints. <br />Mayor McCarty asked that the '1CCL, who approached the <br />City earlier on requested space for a lifemobile at <br />vestibule parking for the festival in the parks, be <br />contacted on what the criteria will be this year. <br />Attorney Meyers' opinion was that the Festivities <br />Commission should develop criteria for use of public <br />property that would apply to any activity from any <br />group. <br />Motion: McCarty to direct that the Council request the <br />Festivities Commission to set forth the standards and <br />guidelines for festivities at the festival in the parks. Motion Failed <br />from lack of a <br />second <br />Councilmember Blanchard stated that the Commission <br />bylaws set down criteri, and that they have been <br />abiding by this. <br />Councilmember Hankner added that, after they have <br />finished planning all activities, they plan on up- <br />dating standards and guidelines, so it will be done. <br />
