.W 1
.f
MEMO TO: Don Brayer, Finance Director
r
FROM: Bruce K. Anderson, Direc
Parks, Recreation and
DATE: October 23, 1984
RE: Till shortage
This is just a short note to follow up on our conversation on
Monday, October 22, 1984 regarding the fact that our till does
not balance and is short $55.00 from the week of October 15,
1984. We spoke to the police department on this issue immediate-
ly after the till was balanced on Monday, October .15 and com-
menced a plan to determine how the shortage might have occurred.
To date, we have not been able to determine who might have taken
the money, but we have continued our plans in hopes of catching
any individual who may have misappropriated the City funds.
In the meantime, staff is developing a new policy for use of the
Park and Recreation Department till and will begin instituting
that new policy effective Wednesday, October 24, 1984. Should
you have any questions regarding staff's direction on this issue,
call me at ext. #41.
BKA/sll
cc: Don Pauley, Clerk -Administrator
Tim Ramacher, Chief of Police
