RESOLUTION 10076 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> ACCEPTING RICE CREEK WATERSHED GRANT MONIES FOR THE SILVER VIEW STORM <br /> WATER POND PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS, the City has the responsibility to efficiently operate the storm water <br /> system; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council approved Resolution 9544 authorizing the proposal from <br /> Stantec Engineering Services to complete an overall storm water pond assessment In 2021; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council further approved Resolution 9783 and 9784 authorizing <br /> Stantec to complete the assessments on the Ardan Park, AA-1.P1 and AA-1-.P2; and Stantec <br /> has completed the surveys and assessments of the City's Storm Water Ponds; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council Further approved Resolution 9989 approving plans and <br /> specifications for the projects in addition to accepting a grant from the State of Minnesota Board <br /> of Soil and Water Resources (BWSR) in the amount of$230,300.00 for both projects; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council further approved Resolution 9996 awarding a contract to <br /> ACM for the Silver Park Storm Water Pond project; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City was awarded $100,000.00 for the BMPs being installed for Silver <br /> View Project. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br /> Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> 1. Accepts the grant from the Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD) in the amount of <br /> $100,000.00, for the installation of BMPs regarding the Silver View Storm Water <br /> Project. <br /> 2. The Mayor and City Administrator and Public Works Director are hereby authorized <br /> and directed to execute all appropriate documents to effectuate the actions <br /> contemplated by this Resolution. <br /> 3.
