He is responsible for coordinating the flow <br />of projects throughout the Municipal Engineering Department, for checking and approving <br />preliminary and final design of a variety of public works projects including sanitary sewer, <br />water and drainage systems, and street improvements for both private developments and <br />municipal public works. <br />Private development projects include residential, both single family and multiple housing <br />and industrial developments. The projects have varied in size from 20 acres to 200 acres <br />and have involved all phases of development from preliminary platting, grading, utility <br />and street design to final platting, staking and construction inspection. <br />Public works projects, for mt!r+i�: -. -' and other n +rsarnrn ±5 >ncies ir«`lude <br />planning and s1=u.,< €a for sdaiiut y -scwei, water, drainage, street „and highway projects in <br />many Minnesota cities including Eden Priarie, Hastings, Faribault, Owatonna, <br />Worthington, St. Cloud. Mr. Husby has been responsible for projects varied in scope and <br />complexity from simple pumping facilties costing a few thousand dollars to multi -million <br />dollar projects requiring technical, financial and public relations expertise. <br />Prior to joining RCM, Mr. Husby was associated with another consulting firm with whom, <br />during a four year period, he was responsible for the review of approximately 200 public <br />works projects to determine their feasibility under Economic Development Administration <br />(EDA) construction grant guidelines. He also worked for nine years as a design and <br />project engineer for sewer, water and drainage systems constructed in the suburban <br />communities of Bloomington, Crystal, Golden Valley, Hopkins, New Hope, Plymouth, <br />Richfield and St. Louis Park. <br />
