The meetinq will be an <br />informational one, at Abiding Saviour Lutheran <br />Church. <br />Coencilmember Hankner reported the Council/Staff <br />picnic has been set for July 10th. <br />Mayor t.inko rcportcd he had attenAod the Park and Mayor Linke <br />Rec Commission meeting on May 22. fie reported he <br />had also represented the City at a retirement <br />gathering for three school officials, which was <br />held at Irondale High School. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported that Don's <br />17. Report of <br />Clerk/A dminietra— <br />Amusement Enterprises, Inc. has applied to <br />conduct a carnival at Mounds view Square. They <br />for <br />are setting up now, to allow for the necessary <br />inspections, and they have provided the appropriate <br />license fees and evidence of insurance. He added <br />that they have conducted carnivals in the City <br />before, and they are aware of the proper procedures <br />to follow in applying for a license. He stated <br />they would like their license to run from May 28 <br />through June 1. <br />Motion/Second: Blanchard/Quick to ---prove the <br />IIcense or Don's Amusement Enterprises, Inc. for <br />Aiay 2B through June 1, 1986. <br />0 <br />Motion Carried <br />5 alms nays <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported the grant <br />proposal for the `Arts in the Park" program must <br />be submitted by May 30. <br />Motion/Second: llaake/Blanchard to approve the <br />submrttal the "Arcs in the Park" grant proposal. <br />Motion Carried <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported the new civil <br />defense siren is in and they will begin installing <br />it this week. once it is fully operational, the <br />existing two sirens will be taken down and <br />maintenance done, and they will be reinstalled. <br />Mayor ianke adjourned the meeting at 9:17 PM. 18.
