Bituminous path for the Gale/Yost walkway. <br />2. Chair, link fence for the Gale/Yost walkway. <br />3. Fire hydrants and panel truck for flooding ice rinks. <br />1. bituminous Path for the Gale/Yost Walkway - The cost of an 8' <br />wade bituminous walkway Is U000 (400 lineal ft. y $10/lineal <br />ft.l. The cost could be lower if the work is done by the <br />contractor on the City street project. <br />2. _Chain Link Fence for the Gala/Yost Walkway - The cost of a <br />chain link fence on thts walkway is $4,800 (800 lineal ft. k <br />$6/lineal ft.). This cost estimate does not include installing a <br />concrete weed control strip under the fence. <br />3. N drants and Panel Truck for Flooding Ice Rinks - In order to <br />reAure r,e �nqt manta :,i'' ,n,-: nks, a fire hydrant needs to <br />be installed at Woodcrest Park, Lambert Park, Hillview ParK and <br />Greenfield Park. The cost of instilling hydrants, gate valves, <br />6' diameter ductile iron pipe, and appurtenances for the 4 parks <br />is $10,000. The cost estimate is for materials only and does not <br />include installation or labor costs. <br />A heated panel truck to haul hoses for spraying water on the ice <br />rinks from Federal Surplus is estimated to cost $2,000 to <br />$6,000. The City has an old green van that could be utilized if <br />repairs are made to it. <br />Possible Funding Sources <br />The estimated tots, cost for all of the items is $24,800. <br />The original 1986 Budget included $3,O00 for the Gate/Yost <br />walkway. The money was removed from the 1986 Budget and not <br />replaced. However, the money could he returned to the 1086 <br />Budget. <br />Developer deposits in the amount of $8,000 could be utilized for <br />these prof-cts.
