Canter, Jr. ���urfio71144 <br />SUBJ: Siren Conversion Project <br />On July 24, 1986, the local community directors of Ramsey County approved <br />the above bid, and the contract was awarded to Healy -Ruff for the Ramsey <br />County system to activate outdoor warning sirens by radio tone. <br />The new system will provide for siren activation from the present county <br />warning point at the Ramsey County Sheriff's Radio Division, 3401 N. Rice <br />Street, Shoreview, HN 55126. <br />Under the contract, Ramsey County Emergency Services will purchase all <br />equipment necessary to generate and broadcast the discrete siren control <br />signals. Ramsey County Emergency Services will purchase an encoder, a <br />growl test ontinn, and a hgll L tlah* ..t.... acr !-tv vve <br />Under the same contract individual municipalities will purchase at firm <br />prices the following: each decoder at $1,806 and test option at $438. <br />This includes all equipment and labor. A full 12-month warranty for all <br />equipment will be provided. This conmenres on the date the equipment 'is <br />first placed into satisfactory operation. All equipment will be installed <br />by the contractor, Healy -Ruff. <br />For more information about the system, you may contact Mr. Robert C.
