TEAM BUILDING/GOAL SETTING <br />Opportunity: Effective teams are more than a collection of individuals. To <br />be a team requires commitment, the ability to resolve differences, <br />clear communication, and an understanding of team functioning. <br />As a result of the team building session, participants will be <br />able to: <br />• understand differences in individual style <br />o Improve communication between staff and council <br />o Build team spirit by acknowledging strengths and weaknesses <br />of the team <br />• Identify issues which block effective communication and team- <br />work <br />s Develop an action plan to increase effective teamwork <br />
