0. <br />8/4/88 <br />commission Duties <br />12 <br />With regard to the NSAC, the Commission will enter into an <br />agreement with NSAC whereby it will designate NSAC as the entity to <br />receive the resources to Support community access from Cable TV <br />North Central or its successor, and will annually order Cable TV <br />North Central or its successors to periodically transfer funds and <br />other resources for the support of community access to the NSAC. <br />E. Municipalities, Duties <br />With regard ;.o the non-projit corporation, the member cities may <br />appoint one member to the Board of Directors, taking into <br />consideration the need on the Board for those experienced in <br />municipal government operations, access production, community <br />activities, and support services such as accounting and legal <br />affairs. <br />Scope of Corporation Duties Regarding Access Users <br />The non-profit corporation will oe responsible for all support <br />functions for public access, religious access, special needs <br />access, and the community bulletin board. It will orovide varying <br />degrees of assistance to institutional users -- municipal access <br />users, echool district users, nin-public school and higher <br />education institution users, and library users. <br />Specifically, the corporation will be responsible for the <br />following: <br />P_. Public, special needs, religious access <br />1. training and certifying users <br />2. providing production assistance <br />3• providing and maintaining production/cablecast facilities <br />and equipment <br />4. scheduling and managing equipment and facilities use <br />5. scheduling programs <br />6. cablecasting programs <br />7. programming messages;annou7,cements on the public access, <br />discrete public access, religious access and special needs access <br />channels, plus the community bulletin board, which channels are <br />currently designated as Ch. 33, 69, 63, 68 and 62 respectively <br />8. promoting the community access opportunity and individual <br />programs <br />B. Government access <br />I. developing a production personnel and resource <br />Pool for municipal meeting cablecasts and other city productions <br />2. training and certifying interestedmunicipal <br />employees/others <br />3. providing limited production assistance and consultation <br />
