Mounds View City Council August Be 1988 <br />C1 �p, Page Four <br />Regular Meeting 4 , c d c _ ---_________-.-- <br />------------------------ -----UNi�- �-- <br />9 <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported the City Employees <br />Relations Committee had presented a proposal at the last <br />agenda session for a flexible benefits program, and he <br />review details of the program and how it operates. He <br />stated that derending upon the number of employees who <br />sign up for it, the cost of the program could be made <br />up or even exceed in payroll savings throughout the <br />year. <br />Public Works Director Minetor arrived at 7:29 PM. <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Wuori to approve Resolution No. <br />23657adopting a medical and day care ex9ense reim- <br />bursement plan and administrative services agreement <br />with DCA, Inc., and waive the reading. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Blanchard to appoint Cynthia <br />Lesher, Deborah Alman and Murial Brainard to the <br />Environmental Quality Task Force, with Mrs. Lesher-s <br />and Mrs. Brainard's terms to run to December 31, 1989 <br />and Mrs. Alman's term to run to December 31, 1990. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Councilmember Wuori reported Mrs. Alman had also indi- <br />cated an interest .in serving on the Planning Commission <br />and she quesr.ioned whether it would be possible to do <br />both. <br />Clerk/Administrator Panlay advised there could be poten- <br />tial conflicts, as both groups will be working together. <br />Mayor Linke asked Public Works Direcor Minetor to notify <br />Mrs. Alman of the appointment, and if she wishes, she <br />can decline it and apply to the Planning Commission. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported Public Works <br />Director Minetor has had a satisfactory 90 day perfor- <br />mance review. <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Blanchard to approve a $1,000 per <br />y. i.ncreasa in salary for Public Works Director <br />Minetor, retroactive to August 2, ]988. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported changes were still <br />being made in the listing of election judges, with <br />vacancies remaining in all four precincts for judges <br />in the general election in November. <br />10.
