Strategic Plan Strategy/Goal: Maintain and Plan for Infrastructure Improvements. <br /> Financial Impact: No Financial Impact to the 2025 Budget. The Street Improvement CIP- <br /> fund, 485-4470-7050 includes $1,377,905.00 for this proposed project. <br /> Recommendation: Staff recommends the City Council adopt the attached resolution <br /> authorizing the award of a construction contract to Northwest Asphalt of Shakopee, MN in the <br /> amount $1,088,349.58, (this includes all 3 of the alternates), for the 2025 Street <br /> Reconstruction Project. Staff also recommends the City Council approve a contingency of <br /> $108,834.96 for any unforeseen issues that arise during this construction project. Staff further <br /> recommends the council approve Stantec to perform inspection services at a proposed cost <br /> of $64,000.00. Staff further recommends the council approve the proposal form American <br /> Engineering and Testing in the amount of $32,221.00 to perform Engineering services and <br /> material testing for the Street Project.
