The location of commercial uses shall take <br />into consideration the neighborhood, land <br />use, and circulation pattern. <br />g. Support pedestrian and transit access to <br />major service and commercial centers. <br />i. Safe and convenient pedestrian movements <br />shall be provied within major service and <br />commercial centers. <br />j. The City shall cooperate with existing and <br />potential commercial developers in <br />creating site plans with emphasis on <br />efficient access and egress, parking <br />areas, landscaping and adherence to an <br />architectural theme. <br />1. Enact and uniformly enforce a commercial/ <br />industrial maintenance code to help insure <br />that commercial and industrial structures <br />represent community attributes on an on- <br />going basis. <br />m. Commercial development shall be prohibited <br />on wetlands, shorelands, flood plains, and <br />other natural features that perform <br />important public protection functions in <br />their natural state. <br />Goal 3: Major retail sales and services will <br />be developed in planned and concentrated <br />centers. <br />a.
