It was good to talk with you before the <br />holidays, and to discuss the planning process we could develop for <br />Mounds View. As I said I would, I spoke with Sue Hankner about <br />our discussion and shared with her some of the conclusions we <br />reached. She seemed to support the idea of a small planning <br />"retreat" early in the year to focus on strategies for this year altd to <br />set in motion the steps for a longer -term visioning process that <br />includes a larger group of community leaders. <br />I am enclosing some information about myself and our organization, <br />and would offer as a reference the name of client for whom we <br />conducted 1 similar project. You might want to call Dr. Maurice Kalin, <br />Assistant Superintendent for Howard County, Maryland Schools. We <br />worked with their community on a s::veral-year-long project called, <br />"TTY2000", or "Toward the Year 2000." His phone number is (301) <br />992-0500. We will talk later in January to firm up our plans and <br />commitments to each other. At that time, we should agree on time, <br />place, participants, and format for a planning retreat or session.
