6. CHARGES. HASYS will bill Customer directly for charges for service, parts and <br />supplies furnished by them to Customer and not covered by the total Annual Charge <br />set forth. Any such charges will be payable by Customer 10 days after receipt <br />of the invoice(s). <br />(a) There shall be added to the charges payable amounts equal to all taxes, <br />however designated, if MASYS is legally obligated to collect taxes on <br />this Agrccmrnt. <br />(b) HASYS may increase or decrease the rate of charges payable by Customer <br />hereunder for subsequent years of coverage after the initial year, with <br />sixty (63) days advance written notification prior to the expiration of the contract. <br />(c) Emergency service required by thi"Customer outside the Basic Coverage <br />period will be available to the customer if the TOTAL BASIC ANNUAL CHARGE <br />on Page 1 is $501 or greater, and customer has deposited with MaSys <br />Corporation the Emergency Services Surcharge that appears on Page 1. The purpose of the deposit will be <br />to ensure payment to McSys for services rendered or, a time and materials <br />basis. Charges for such services w.tll be rendered and payable at NaSys' <br />then -current over -time rates, which are: <br />LABOR: <br />Other than Basic Coverage period and Holidays 1h Times Standard <br />Hourly Rate <br />Holidays 2 Times Standard <br />II Hourly Rate <br />TRAVEL; <br />• HaSys Employee -driven Vehicle. (from NaSys' Office): $ .30/Mile <br />Commercial Transportation ACTUAL COST <br />Subsistence ACTUAL COST <br />MATERIALS: <br />NaSys' then current list price. <br />7. ADDITIONAL COVERED EQUIPMENT. Additional items of equipment and/or additional <br />options to existing equipment may become covered under this Agreement and considered <br />as part of the Equipment for all purposes hereof upon the execution by MASYS and <br />Customer of an appropriate amendment. Any such amendment shall set forth the <br />Service Commencement Date iur t -dd±t±cap'- •'iP=ent a-d/_r nn�lnns and the <br />mutuall,, a maintenance an agreed upon total annual charge for the maintenance services to be <br />furnis�led hereunder for any such additional equipment and/or options :ill be <br />appropriately pro -rated to coincide with thn ending date for regular billing <br />under this Agreement. Without limiting any of the foregoing, and such additional <br />Equipment and/or options shall be subject to the provisions of this Agreement <br />regarding initial status and inspection. <br />B. FURTHER OBLIGATIONS OF CUSTOMEP.. Customer will: <br />(a) Provide environmental and installation conditions and AC power for the <br />Equipment in accordance with MASYS requirements, which includes appro- <br />priate power requirements, separate direct line, separate earth ground, <br />conduit or holes drilled for cables, power regulation or protection for <br />line voltage fluctuations, overvoltages, underveltages, brown -outs, and <br />any other power, installation or environmental disturbances. <br />Page 3 of 6 <br />
