�m 3 <br />d` MEMO TO: MAYOR AHD CITY COU IL <br />i FROM: CLERK-ADMINISTRATO <br />DATE: JUNE 9, 1987 <br />SUBJECT: PUMP AND METER SERVICE PETITION FOR CAS PUMPS AT <br />THE TOM THUMB COUNTY ROAD I <br />Upon receipt of a copy of the petition from Pump and Meter <br />Service signed by Mounds view residents for gas pumps at the <br />Tom Thumb at the corner of County Road I,and Edgewood, Staff <br />reviewed the petition to determine the location of the <br />s.ignators. <br />Attached to this memorandum please find a copy of a City Map <br />which shows in lime green the addresses of the petition <br />eignators. You will note, I am sure, as Staff did that <br />except for five single family residences, all of the <br />eignators on property immediately adjacent to the Tom Thumb <br />site are residents of apartment buildings. This is not to <br />suggest that apartment dwellerr. concerns should not be <br />listened to and addressed, but does give a general <br />indication of where the demand for these facilities exist <br />and causes one to wonder what the general reaction of the <br />single family homes south of the Tom Thumb, fronting on <br />Edgewood and Greenfield Avenue feel about this proposal. <br />Obviously, that information will become available at the <br />public hearing on the 22nd of June. <br />Should you have any further questions regarding this matter, <br />please do not hesitate to contact. <br />DFP/mjo <br />Attachment: <br />Q <br />
