r� <br />ACCOUNTABILITY FOR SUPERVISION <br />Participates in decisions relating to the selection, promotion, <br />transfer, discipline or termination of all assigned personnel. <br />Orients assigned personnel to City and Department policies and <br />procedures, and clearly communicates the duties and <br />responsibilities assigned so personnel may proceed with certainty <br />in performance of their positions. <br />Evaluates continually the demonstrater' performance of the <br />Department and assigned personnel as the basis for counsel and <br />guidance, designed to stimulate improved performance and prepare <br />employees for additional opportunities as may become available. <br />Creates a working climate in which assigned personnel are <br />encouraged to develop and achieve their full potential, and <br />demonstrates by personal example the desired standards of conduct <br />and work performance. <br />
