<br /> <br /> <br />The Mounds View Vision <br />A Thriving Desirable Community <br /> <br />relocating the Zip Line from Hodges Park to Silver View Park at a additional cost of cost of <br />$50,616.15 this includes the installation of new swings and placing the purple and green <br />dinosaur’s back at the park. <br /> <br />MWP Recreation is on the US Communities Government Purchasing Alliance, like the State <br />Cooperative Purchasing Venture, and has furnished and installed previous playground equipment <br />in Mounds View in a satisfactory manner. <br /> <br />Strategic Plan Strategy/Goal: <br />A progressive City that is a welcoming and desirable destination to all ages and cultures, who <br />seek progress through partnership, and a place where residents can live, work and play safely <br />and show pride in the community. <br /> <br />Financial Impact: <br />This item is not included in the 2025 budget and would require a budget adjustment of <br />$50,616.15 in the Special Project Funds, account 480-4360-7050. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Staff is recommending the City Council adopt this Resolution to accept the quote from MWP <br />Recreation for the relocation of the Zipline and installation of the new playground equipment, Zip <br />Track and poured in place rubber, site preparation, installation of concrete for an additional of <br />cost $50,616.15 funded from account and 480-4360- 4360. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />Don Peterson, Director of Public Works/Parks and Recreation <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
