He <br /> 5 reported he has been in contact with Mr. Rundle's daughter about how to present the Citizen of <br /> 6 the Year award to Gary and he was waiting to hear back from the family. He thanked the Council <br /> 7 for selecting Gary Rundle as Citizen of the Year for 2024. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 Mayor Lindstrom reported Gary Rundle has put many years of service into this community and he <br /> 10 greatly appreciated his efforts. PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> 15 <br /> 16 Mayor Lindstrom encouraged the public to speak with kindness and respect when addressing the <br /> 17 City Council during Public Comment. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 Vince Meyer, 8380 Spring Lake Road, reported he submitted an information disclosure request <br /> 20 along with nine other residents on Spring Lake Road on January 1 and he has received no response <br /> 21 from the City.He stated on February 10 he made a second request and received partial information. <br /> 22 He commented it was now June and he still has not received a response on the contractor that <br /> 23 would be doing the work on the driveways, what the cost would be and who was paying for the <br /> 24 project. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 8. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> 27 A. PUBLIC HEARING: Second Reading and Approval of Ordinance 1044 <br /> 28 Amending Title XV, Chapter 160 of the Mounds View Municipal Code <br /> 29 Relating to Off-Street Parking Requirements. ROLL CALL VOTE <br /> 30 <br /> 31 Evan Monson, Stantec, requested the Council approve an Ordinance that would amend Title XV, <br /> 32 Chapter 160 of the Mounds View Municipal Code Relating to Off-Street Parking Requirements. <br /> 33 He commented on the minor changes that were made to the City's parking requirements and <br /> 34 reported the Planning Commission recommends approval. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 Mayor Lindstrom opened the public hearing at 6:24 p.m. <br /> 37 <br /> 38 Sharon Kirscher, 8406 Red Oak Drive, asked how off street parking was defined. <br /> 39 <br /> 40 Mr. Monson reported off street parking was defined as any parking not on a City or County street, <br /> 41 but rather was within a parking lot or garage structure. <br /> 42 <br /> 43 Mayor Lindstrom commented on how the new requirements would assist with new development <br /> 44 in the community and would more closely align with the parking requirements in neighboring <br /> 45 communities. <br /> 46 <br />
