Resolution 10136, Approving the Purchase of One Ford Police SUV Vehicle <br />and One Dodge Police SUV Vehicle Along with Additional Equipment and <br />Setup Costs. <br /> <br />Police Chief Zender requested the Council approve the Purchase of One Ford Police SUV Vehicle <br />and One Dodge Police SUV Vehicle Along with Additional Equipment and Setup Costs. He <br />explained these vehicles would replace a 2016 K-9 squad and a 2019 SUV squad. He reviewed the <br />cost to replace these vehicles and recommended approval. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause asked why the City would be purchasing one Ford and one Dodge <br />squad car. Police Chief Zender reported the Ford would be the new K-9 squad and the Dodge was <br />a little cheaper SUV option. He noted both vehicles would be purchased from the State bid. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Clark/Smith. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 10136, <br />Approving the Purchase of One Ford Police SUV Vehicle and One Dodge Police SUV Vehicle <br />Along with Additional Equipment and Setup Costs. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />D. First Reading and Introduction of Ordinance 1046, Amending Chapter 92, <br />section 92.007 of the Municipal Code to Specifically Prohibit Nudity. <br /> <br />Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson requested the Council introduce an <br />Ordinance that would amend Chapter 92 of City Code prohibit nudity in the City of Mounds View. <br />He reported this ordinance was being brought forward after the recent Minnesota Supreme Court <br />Case where the court addressed how lude conduct is defined. He explained the City would be <br />clarifying that nudity would be prohibited. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Clark. To Waive the First Reading and Introduce Ordinance <br />1046, Amending Chapter 92, section 92.007 of the Municipal Code to Specifically Prohibit Nudity. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br />
