To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 10159, <br /> 10 Adopting a Special Assessment Levy for Delinquent Public Utility Accounts. <br /> 11 <br /> 12 Ayes 5 Nays—0 Motion carried. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 C. PUBLIC HEARING: Resolution 10160, Adopting a Special Assessment Levy <br /> 15 for Unpaid Diseased Tree and Miscellaneous Charges. <br /> 16 <br /> 17 Finance Director Bauman requested the Council approve a Resolution adopting a special <br /> 18 assessment levy for unpaid diseased tree and miscellaneous charges. She noted the number of <br /> 19 unpaid tree charges was down from last year. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 Mayor Lindstrom opened the public hearing at 6:46 p.m. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 Hearing no public input, Mayor Lindstrom closed the public hearing at 6:46 p.m. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Clark. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 10160, <br /> 26 Adopting a Special Assessment Levy for Unpaid Diseased Tree and Miscellaneous Charges. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 Ayes—5 Nays—0 Motion carried. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 D. Resolution 10161,Recognizing October 28, 2025, as National First Responder <br /> 31 Day to Include Mounds View Public Works. <br /> 32 <br /> 33 Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson requested the Council adopt a Resolution <br /> 34 recognizing October 28, 2025, as National First Responder Day to include Mounds View Public <br /> 35 Works personnel. He commented on the silent support public works employees offer by providing <br /> 36 safe drinking water, operating stormwater and sewer systems, along with keeping streets clear. He <br /> 37 asked that the Council honor and acknowledge the City's public works employees by recognizing <br /> 38 October 28, 2025, as National First Responder Day to include Mounds View Public Works <br /> 39 Department. <br /> 40 <br /> 41 Mayor Lindstrom read Resolution 10161 in full for the record and thanked the City's Public Works <br /> 42 personnel for being the silent arm of the communities' first responders. He stated he appreciated <br /> 43 all that public works did to keep the community free and clear of snow, while also keeping the <br /> 44 water flowing through the City.He also appreciated all that Public Works did at the City sponsored <br /> 45 events in the community. <br /> 46 <br />
