Person in Crisis/ERPO <br />Anoka County began a standoff with a suicidal male wanted for domestic assault. <br />Suspect was later sent to the hospital and was served with an Emergency Risk <br />Protection Order preventing him from owning firearms. <br />Shooting <br />Domestic related shooting where the victim was shot in the leg. Suspect fled the scene <br />and was later apprehended. Suspect charged with 2nd degree assault. The victim is still <br />recovering and expected to make full recovery. <br />Criminal Sexual Conduct <br /> Date rape with an unknown suspect and location of the crime. Used cell data records to <br />locate timeline and location of the crime. Worked with Roseville PD to identify the <br />suspect through social media. Suspect was later charged by Roseville PD. <br />Homicide/Suicide <br /> Two males found deceased in a home. Ruled a murder suicide. No risk to the public <br />and case will be closed after numerous search warrants. <br />Person in Crisis/Emergency Risk Protection Order <br />Male in crisis was sent to the hospital against his will after threatening to shoot his <br />neighbor. Male also made comments about wanting to purchase an AR-15. An ERPO <br />was filed because the male was still eligible to purchase and own a firearm. Respondent <br />was later civilly committed due to the ERPO being filed. <br />Felony Theft from Auto <br />Used LPR to locate suspect vehicle and issued KOPS alert on vehicle. Vehicle was <br />later located in Hastings and towed. Search warrant was conducted on the vehicle and <br />recovered all stolen items. Suspects identified and charges pending. <br />PIC/Harassment <br />Known person in crisis (PIC) male with behaviors. Worked with mental health case <br />workers and family to establish safety plan. Male was charged with GM harassment and <br />disorderly conduct. <br />Malicious Punishment of a child <br />While investigating unrelated domestic, a video was located showing the suspect <br />forcibly slap a 6-month-old in the head in 2023. Child does not have any permanent <br />injuries but was injured at the time. Waiting on medical records before charging. <br />Criminal Sexual Conduct (CSC) <br />Stepdad allegedly inappropriately touching 5-year-old. Midwest Children’s Resource <br />Center (MCRC) interview revealed no abuse. Conducted several interviews with family. <br />Suspect denied all accusations in an interview. Charges declined by county attorney. <br />Burglary <br />Day time burglary of residence. Tracked down suspect footage to give a good time <br />frame. No current leads. DNA and fingerprints being conducted by BCA.
