RESOLUTION 10242 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA APPROVING 3 YEAR CONTRACT WITH GUARDIAN PEST SOLUTIONS FOR PEST CONTROL AT CITY HALL, COMMUNITY CENTER AND PUBLIC WORKS FACILITIES WHEREAS, the City contracts for pest control services for City Hall, Community Center, and the Public Works facilities; and WHEREAS, over the last several months Staff has noticed performance issues with the contractor in not affectively eliminating some pests; and WHEREAS, Staff reviewed the State Corporative Venture Program / State Bid to inquires if other contractors we listed; and WHEREAS, Staff received a bid from Gurdian Pest Solutions for the following facilities: City Hall $779.88 yearly Community Center $779.80 yearly Public Works $1,169.76 yearly; and WHEREAS, Staff recommends the Council approve the attached resolution for a 3 year contract with Guardian Pest Solutions for pest control services for City Hall, Community Center and Public Works. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: 1. That a 3-year contract be awarded to Guardian Pest Solutions. 2. Funding is from the following accounts; Building and Grounds, 100-4360-3030, Community Center 252-4350-5110, Water Department, 700-4823-3030. 3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to execute all appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by this resolution. 4. The Mayor and City Administrator, Staff and consultants are hereby authorized and directed to take any and all additional steps and actions necessary or convenient in order to accomplish the intent of this Resolution.
