To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 10226, <br /> 4 Approval of a Chicken-keeping License for Christian Johnson, 5200 Edgewood Drive. <br /> 5 <br /> 6 Ayes—5 Nays—0 Motion carried. <br /> 7 <br /> 8 B. PUBLIC HEARING: Consideration of Resolution 10227, Approval of a <br /> 9 Chicken-keeping License for Kristina Presson, 8321 Greenwood Drive. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Assistant City Administrator Beeman requested the Council consider a chicken keeping license <br /> 12 for Kristina Presson at 8321 Greenwood Drive. He reported the applicant is proposing to keep six <br /> 13 (6) chickens and has provided staff with all the necessary paperwork. It was noted staff had not <br /> 14 received any opposition about this request. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 Mayor Lindstrom opened the public hearing at 6:14 p.m. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 Kristina Presson, 8321 Greenwood Drive, thanked the Council for considering her request. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 Mayor Lindstrom stated Ms. Presson was his backyard neighbor and he had received a notice for <br /> 21 this request. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 Hearing no further public input, Mayor Lindstrom closed the public hearing at 6:15 p.m. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 MOTION/SECOND: Clark/Smith. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 10227,Approval <br /> 26 of a Chicken-keeping License for Kristina Presson, 8321 Greenwood Drive. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 Ayes—5 Nays—0 Motion carried. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 C. Second Reading and Approval of Ordinance 1059, Amending the Mounds <br /> 31 View City Code, Title XI: Business Regulations, Chapter 119, Concerning <br /> 32 Affordable Housing and Tenant Protection ROLL CALL VOTE. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 Evan Munsen Stantec,requested the Council hold the second hearing and adopt an Ordinance that <br /> 35 would amend City Code regarding Business Regulations, Chapter 119, concerning Affordable <br /> 36 Housing and Tenant Protection. He reported the Council would be formalizing affordable housing <br /> 37 discussion the Council began last year. He explained the first reading for this Ordinance was held <br /> 38 on March 23. <br /> 39 <br /> 40 MOTION/SECOND: Lindstrom/Meehlhause. To Waive the Second Reading and Adopt <br /> 41 Ordinance 1059,Amending the Mounds View City Code, Title XI: Business Regulations, Chapter <br /> 42 119, Concerning Affordable Housing and Tenant Protection and publication of summary. <br /> 43 <br /> 44 ROLL CALL: Clark/Gunn/Meehlhause/Smith/Lindstrom. <br /> 45 <br /> 46 Ayes—5 Nays—0 Motion carried. <br />
