-10- <br />1 Council Action <br />z Motion by Ranallo, seconded by Marks to authorize staff to spend up to <br />3 $1,400 for chairs for the SAV Community Center building. <br />4 <br />5 NEW BUSINESS <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />6 License Fees Established for City Alarm Users <br />7 Motion by Marks, seconded by Enrooth to adopt Resolution 88-041 with <br />8 the deletion of the word "annually" after $25.00 in the second <br />9 paragraph. <br />10 <br />RESOLUTION 88-041 <br />11 A RESOLUTION RELATING TO ALARM USER FEES <br />12 <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />13 $112,850.95 of St Anthony Boulevard Project to be Assessed Against Two <br />14 Benefited Property Owners <br />15 Mr. Childs explained that the reconstruction of St. Anthony Boulevard <br />16 between the Burlington Northern Railroad Bridge and the south City limit <br />17 line had cost $227,700.11, of which the City would be paying $164,849.16 <br />and $112,850.95 would be assessed to the two benefited property owners, <br />19 Gross Golf Course and Sunset Memorial Cemetery. In accordance with the <br />20 City's Assessment Policy, these property owners would be assessed for <br />21 only what it would cost to construct a residential 8 foot wide road <br />22 section of a 5 ton design and the cost of curb and gutter. <br />23 Council Action <br />24 Motion by Makowske, seconded by Marks to adopt Resolution 88-042. <br />25 <br />RESOLUTION 88-042 <br />26 A RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND <br />27 ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL <br />M <br />29 <br />30 <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />31 The copy of the proposed ordinance in the agenda packet indicated the <br />32 Mayor would be receiving a monthly salary of $375.00 and the other four <br />33 Councilmembers $250.00 starting December 1, 1989, after the 1989 <br />34 General Election, as approved in the 1989 budget. <br />Council Action <br />
