Recommend Tabling the Application for more information. 3 <br /> 4 <br />Staff recommends approval of the Applicant’s request as outlined in the resolution. 5 <br /> 6 <br />Councilmember Brever requested to add the Contingency of written proof of a licensing waiver 7 <br />from the State of Minnesota. 8 <br /> 9 <br />Councilmember Stille stated he agrees with Councilmember Brever’s suggestion. 10 <br /> 11 <br />Motion by Councilmember Stille, seconded by Councilmember Gray, to adopt Resolution 15-12 <br />048 a Resolution Approving a Conditional Use Permit Amendment to Expand the Existing 13 <br />Daycare Facility to 7,630 square feet at the Property Located at 3055 Old Highway 8 contingent 14 <br />on written proof of a licensing waiver from the appropriate State authorities as determined by 15 <br />City Staff and revising the Resolution wording No. 15-048 and Exhibit B correcting the sf on the 16 <br />drawing. 17 <br /> 18 <br />Motion carried unanimously. 19 <br /> 20 <br />VI. GENERAL BUSINESS OF COUNCIL. 21 <br /> 22 <br />A. Resolution 15-049 a Resolution Approving Joint Powers Agreement between Ramsey 23 <br />County, Hennepin County, and the City of St. Anthony for the use of Voting Systems. 24 <br />Mark Casey, City Manager, presenting. 25 <br /> 26 <br />City Manager Casey presented the terms of the Joint Powers Agreement (JPA) between Ramsey 27 <br />County, Hennepin County, and the City of St. Anthony, noting it covers the obligations of each 28 <br />County and the City in relation to obtaining and operating voting systems, managing polling 29 <br />place operations, and administering absentee voting. The City has recently contracted with 30 <br />Ramsey County to provide Election Administration duties for the entire City of St. Anthony. 31 <br />Given that the City is located in both Ramsey and Hennepin County, an agreement was created 32 <br />to specify what each County is responsible for as well as the City’s responsibility for election 33 <br />processing. This agreement covers the obligations of the each County and the City of St. 34 <br />Anthony in relation to obtaining and operating voting systems, managing polling place 35 <br />operations and administering absentee voting.
