Zkt- that time, the Council toured the existing offices and <br /> approved t&e concept subject to the resolution of certain concerns namel : <br /> 1. Approval by the School District of the expansion at <br /> no: extra lease cost to the City. <br /> z <br /> 2 . A generalized cost estimate of the project. <br /> S Within a far creeks the School Board met and unanimously approved the <br /> concept at no, additional cost and as discussed at the work session, the <br /> City would install additional signage for the building and agree to <br /> clean the Testrooms used by the DLC (a previous point of contention <br /> between the City and school staffs . ) In the December 5th Cityscan, a <br /> cost estinu-tte: of $900-1000 plus the cost of the air conditioning unit <br /> was described- Construction plans are unchanged from those submitted <br /> this fall. <br /> Because tht-discussions were verbal, I have found that memories of the <br /> final thour7ats. of the Council are quite varied and it might be advant- <br /> ageous to rat this information into the Council minutes as a report <br /> to avoid aty questions which might arise in the future. <br /> The proceeds from- the DLC lease will fund this project which includes <br /> M the $900-1UGG remodeling costs and an air conditioning unit which will <br /> handle the new space as well as over half of the existing offices. We <br /> have had major, cooling problems in the .past with the window mounted uni s. <br /> Bids will be sought and the cost will be over $2 ,000. 00. <br /> N� <br /> RECOMMENDATKOM: <br /> Because the initial remodeling expenditures will be less than $1,000 and a <br /> r we discussel funds are available from the sublease to the DLC group <br /> . .a Council Matron is not required at this time.
