Council Meeting <br /> June 5, 1990 <br /> page 9 <br /> • 1 The City Manager stated he would prefer the meeting to be scheduled <br /> 2 for Monday, June 25th as he will need some preparation time. <br /> 3 Mayor' Ranallo requested that the letter go out under his signature and <br /> 4 it include the fact that other <br /> 5 Councilmembers will also be in attendance. <br /> 6 Burt suggested that the meeting start at. 7:00 p.m. and he will make <br /> 7 arrangements for use of the Auditorium to accommodate all of the residents <br /> 8 he anticipates will attend. <br /> 9 <br /> 10 Councilmember Enrooth felt to insure an atmosphere of informality to <br /> 11 the meeting refreshments should be served such as coffee, cookies, <br /> 12 punch or lemonade. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 To reinforce that a number of people have contacted the City for solutions <br /> 15 to water problems, Councilmember Makowske recommended that the letter <br /> 16 include some reference to their being welcome to make suggestions for <br /> 17 resolutions of the problems and that their imput is desired and needed. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 Mayor Ranallo requested the City Manager to write an article for submission <br /> 20 to the Bulletin and the Northeaster. The Mayor felt if the City Manager <br /> 21 were to personally write the article it would contain all of the sug- <br /> 22 gestions made by the Council . <br /> 2.3 <br /> 1024 7. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> 25 <br /> 26 There were no public hearings. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 8. NEW BUSINESS <br /> 29 <br /> 30 A. Resolution No. 90-022; Re: Designation of Mayor Pro-Tem <br /> 31 Motion by Makowske, second by Ranallo to designate the most senior <br /> 32 member of the Cite. Council , George Marks, to serve as Mayor Pro-Tem. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 Roll call : Enrooth, Makowske, Ranallo - aye <br /> 35 Marks - abstain Motion carried. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 B. Ordinance No. 1990-004; Re: Amending Licensing of Garbage Haulers <br /> 38 This is the first reading of the ordinance. <br /> 39 <br /> 40 Motion by Marks, second by Makowske to approve the first reading of <br /> 41 Ordinance No. 1990-004. <br /> 42 <br /> 43 A copy of the ordinance was distributed to the Council with all of the <br /> 44 new language underlined for informational purposes. <br /> 45 <br /> 46 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 47 <br /> 48 C. Proposal to Provide Feasibility Studies for a Storm Water Pump <br /> 49 Station/Diverson and Sanitary Sewer Diversion <br /> • 50 <br />
