Habitable building - any building or part thereof that meets minimum <br /> 24 standards for use as a home or place of abode. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 11. Habitable room -.a room or enclosed floor space used or intended to be used <br /> 27 for living, sleeping, cooking, or eating purposes, excluding bathrooms, water <br /> 28 closet compartments, laundries, furnace rooms, unfinished basements, (those <br /> 29 without required ventilation, required electric outlets and required exits), <br /> 30 pantries, utility rooms of less than 50 square feet of .floor space, foyers, <br /> 31 communicating corridors, stairways, closets, storage spaces, and workshops, <br /> 32 hobby and recreation areas in parts of the structure below ground level or in <br /> 33 attics. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 12. Heated water - water heated to a temperature of not less than 120 degrees <br /> 36 Fahrenheit, or such lesser temperature required by government authority, <br /> 37 measured at faucet outlet. <br /> 38 <br /> 39 13. Kitchen - a space which contains a sink with counter working space, adequate <br /> 40 space for installing cooking and refrigeration equipment, and adequate space <br /> 01 for the storage of cooking utensils. <br /> 42 <br />
