21 <br /> Task 106: Synthesis of tasks 102-105 <br /> A synthesis of the analysis conducted in Phase I will be produced that highlights the <br /> opportunities and constraints existing in the project area. <br /> Task 106 product: A summary report describing the opportunities and constraints of the <br /> project area. <br /> Task 107: Steering Committee meeting— evaluation of Phase I findings <br /> A presentation to the Steering Committee will.be made of Phase I findings. <br /> Task 107 product: An update to the Steering Committee outlining the key findings of <br /> Phase I. <br /> Task 108: Presentation to the City.Council of Phase I findings <br /> A presentation to the City Council willbe made of Phase I findings. <br /> Task 108 product: An update to the City Council outlining the key findings of Phase I. <br /> Phase II: Preliminary Concept Plan Development, Affirmation of Community Vision <br /> In Phase II a number of concept plans for redevelopment will be developed and <br /> presented to a community forum for input and refinement. Specific tasks in Phase 11 will <br /> include: <br /> • Task 201: Concept plans development <br /> A workshop will be held with all consultants involved in the project in order to work <br /> through the results of the Phase I analyses and formulate concept plans for <br /> redevelopment of the project area.` <br /> Task 201 product: A number of concept redevelopment plans for the project area. The <br /> concept plans will include schematic depictions of potential land use and development <br /> patterns, open space systems, building types and placement, pedestrian improvements, <br /> transit facilities, development alternatives for Apache Mall and the Fresh Air Camp, <br /> potential use mixes, rehabilitation or removal options for the mall, amenities, streetscape <br /> elements, housing options. The concept plans will also provide the general outlines of <br /> necessary changes to regulatory controls, available funding options, potential design <br /> standards and guidelines, and promotional strategies. <br /> Task 202: Community Issues forum <br /> A public workshop will provide a forum to involve local residents and other stakeholders <br /> in a meaningful dialogue about the,future of the Apache Mall and the Salvation Army . <br /> site. The primary intent of the workshop is to present the preliminary concept plans <br /> created during task 201 and receive substantive feedback from the community. <br /> This half day workshop will be held at a conveniently located place near or within the <br /> project area. The agenda may include the following items: <br /> • L Introductory Presentation:Description of the planning process, introduction of <br /> the participants, and project objectives. <br /> 4 of 9 <br />
