Superstructure <br /> ♦ Description: <br /> • Overall structural plan of the <br /> building is divided into three load <br /> bearing segments,exterior wall, <br /> interior load bearing wall and an <br /> interior beam and column support <br /> system. <br /> • Exterior walls are CMU—painted <br /> interior and exterior <br /> • 24"wide CMU pilasters are used <br /> in the exterior wall to add rigidity <br /> to the wall <br /> • 12"x12"interior concrete square "z'' <br /> columns <br /> • 16"deep cast-in-place concrete double corbel beams are used to support a pre- <br /> cast floor and roof structure <br /> ♦ Observations: <br /> • Some movement of CMU in exterior walls is plainly visible near Southeast <br /> stair,cracks are in the CMU and the concrete beam <br /> �. • At Southeast corner of the building daylight can be seen penetrating through <br /> cracks in the exterior walls <br /> • Roof structure on the upper level appears to be a combination of pre-cast <br /> channel with flat pre-cast planks—exact configuration can not be 4.,termined <br /> without reviewing the existing drawings <br /> • Evidence of sagging and cracks in flat pre-cast panels on the top of the concrete <br /> channel beam in loading dock area <br /> 5 <br />
