I • No toilets at the lower level • Upper level toilet floor tiles needs maintenance and cleaning • No water drinking fountain at either level • Possible asbestos presence in the vinyl tile at the lower level—see the appendix for Environmental Site Assessment • Electric panel boards on the East wall on upper level are exposed and accessible to anyone • No guard rail around the loading dock • No uniform lighting throughout the building ♦ Observation regarding conversion to Teen Center: • In conversion of the interior space,limited clear height should not be ignored • Upper level acoustic ceiling tile needs replacement and possible installation of new ceiling tile and metal grid at the lower level,if desired • All the toilets should brought up to the working conditions with adequate accessories • Need to upgrade the toilets for HC accessibility • Upper level floor is to be at the same elevation for accessibility • Need to provide drinking fountains • All the dented and scratched wood frame walls need to be repaired and painted • All the cracked CMU walls needs to be repaired and painted accordingly • All the mechanical and electrical equipment should be enclosed with limited access • No handrail along the front and rear stairs F. Accessibilitv ♦ Observations: • This building is not handicap accessible externally and internally • Upper level finished floor elevation is approximately 2' above the finished grade outside Upper level being multi-elevation floor needs to have one elevation so that it could be accessible • There is no elevator in the building therefore,lower level is not HC accessible from upper level.Although entire floor is on same elevation at the lower level ♦ Observation regarding conversion to Teen Center: • See assumptions in executive summary 9
