2001 Work Plan <br /> • Convert to the new State CJDN system. Train all officers and support staff in its operation. <br /> • Begin electronic transfer of citation data to Hennepin County. <br /> ' • Implement voice recognition technology and train officers in its use. <br /> • Implement the new Hennepin County 800-megahertz radio system. Train all officers in its <br /> use. <br /> • Establish a contractual relationship with the Internet Fraud Complaint Center, which is a <br /> cooperative project between the FBI and the National White Collar Crime Center. Once <br /> established, we may begin giving and receiving information as well as criminal complaints <br /> regarding Internet fraud via the web. <br /> • Implement a St. Anthony Police Department policy on sexual assault per involvement with <br /> the Ramsey County Sexual Assault Protocol Team. <br /> • Establish a policy on less lethal force, and implement officer training. <br /> • Continue to work with the Federal government on CSO and officer grants. <br /> ' • Strive to keep officer turnover to a minimum level, while keeping morale high. <br /> • Continue to work with the Community Prevention Coalition. <br /> • Continue to provide contractual police service to Falcon Heights and Lauderdale in order to <br /> offset St. Anthony taxpayer liability. <br /> • Train additional Use of Force and Firearms instructors. <br /> • Train one additional officer for our bike P atrol unit. <br /> ' • Meet the ever-increasing training mandates from State and Federal agencies. <br /> • Emphasize training and creating opportunity for officers within our department. <br /> • Complete additional intruder drills with schools and re-evaluate security policies. <br /> r <br /> 15 <br />
