• CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> BID PROPOSAL FOR REPAIR OF <br /> DEEP WELL 15 <br /> The City of St. Anthony is accepting bids for the pulling of Deep <br /> Well #5; furnishing repairs and parts; possible removal of well <br /> fill; possible test pumping; reinstallation of pump; connection <br /> of pump into system; and furnishing of all necessary tests. Bids <br /> will be accepted until 12:00 noon, Wednesday, March 8, 1989. <br /> The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids <br /> and to waive - any informalities or technicalities in the bidding <br /> in the best interest of the City. <br /> Instructions to the Bidder <br /> 1. All parts supplied must be of the existing pump manufacture, <br /> Layne Bowler, Memphis, Tennessee. <br /> 2. Use forms provided. <br /> 3 . Give starting and completion dates. Two weeks from date of award <br /> May 1, 1989 <br /> 4. The City will provide a truck for. possible fill removal. <br /> 5. Repair parts quoted must be approved by the City. <br /> .6. Pump must be left on job site for inspection. <br /> 7. Bidder must provide all labor, tools, rigging, and <br /> equipment, necessary to complete the job. <br /> 8. Bidder must provide the necessary equipment for test <br /> pumping. <br /> 9. Bidder must provide protection .for the pump house and <br /> equipment. <br /> 10. Motor must be stored on site. <br /> Description of the Layne Bowler Pump <br /> 1. Motor - 150 H.P. , General Electric <br /> 2. Pump - 210 foot <br /> • 3 . Column pipe— 10 inch <br /> 4. Shaft - 1-11/16 inch <br />
