Materials stored by the owner or permitted-to be <br /> 2 stored by the owner shall be stacked neatly in piles. <br /> 3 <br /> 4 PREVENTION OF FOOD FOR RODENTS. No owner or occupant of a dwelling or <br /> 5 dwelling unit shall store, place, or allow to accumulate any materials that may serve as food - <br /> 6 for rodents in a site accessible to rodents. <br /> 7 <br /> 8 SANITARY MAINTENANCE OF FIXTURES AND FACILITIES. Every occupant of a <br /> 9 dwelling unit shall keep all supplied fixtures and facilities therein in a clean and sanitary <br /> 10 condition and shall be responsible for the exercise of reasonable care in the proper use-and <br /> 11 operation thereof. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 MINIMUM HEATING CAPABILITY AND MAINTENANCE. In every dwelling unit or <br /> 14 rooming unit when the control of the supplied heat is the responsibility of a person other <br /> 15 than the occupant, the supply must be zoned controlled and at a temperature of at least 68 <br /> 16 degrees Fahrenheit, or such lesser temperature required by government authority, shall be <br /> 17 maintained at a distance of three feet above the floor and three feet from exterior walls in <br /> 18 all habitable rooms, bathrooms, and water closet compartments. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 REMOVAL OF SNOW AND ICE. The owner of a multiple family dwelling or dwellings <br /> 21 shall be responsible for the removal of snow and ice from parking lots, driveways, steps and <br /> 22 walkways on the premises. Individual snowfalls of three inches or more, or successive <br /> 23 snowfalls accumulating to a depth of three inches, shall be removed from parking lots and <br /> 24 driveways within 24 hours after cessation of the snowfall. Individual snowfalls of one inch <br /> 25 or more, or successive snowfalls accumulating to a depth of one inch, shall be removed from <br /> 26 steps and walkways within eight hours after cessation of the snowfall. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 Current ordinance: All snow 12 hours after fall is a nuisance. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 MINIMUM EXTERIOR LIGHTING. The owner of a multiple family dwelling shall be <br /> 31 responsible for providing and maintaining effective illumination in all exterior parking lots <br /> 32 and walkways. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 MAINTENANCE OF DRIVING AND PARKING AREAS. The owner of a multiple <br /> 35 family dwelling or dwellings shall be responsible for providing and maintaining in good <br /> 36 condition paved and delineated parking areas and driveways for tenants consistent with <br /> 37 Chapter ### of the City Ordinances. <br /> 38 <br /> 39 MAINTENANCE OF YARDS. The owner of a multiple family dwelling or dwellings shall <br /> 40 be responsible for providing and maintaining premises' yards consistent with Section <br /> 41 #####. <br /> 42 <br />
