He will get quotes for the work. <br /> 5 <br /> 6 The City Manager observed that the sign at the store is a non-conforming <br /> 7 sign. The owner will have to appear before the Planning Commission to request <br /> 8 a variance and the sign will have to be reduced in size. <br /> 9 <br /> 10 Councilmember Makowske reported that the Transportation Committee met on <br /> 11 March 29th. The Committee is looking at the Fall for the new bus lines to <br /> 12 be coordinated. She noted that the additional hours of operation will have <br /> 13 to be advertised a.nd some minor changes will have to be made to make them <br /> 14 more attractive to residents. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 Councilmember Marks observed that two routes will run on Stinson Boulevard <br /> 17 and one will go to Kenzie Terrace. Councilmember Makowske noted that a route <br /> 18 running to Rosedale Shopping Center is being considered. <br /> 19 <br /> 2 <br /> 21 1 7. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> 22 There were no public hearings. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 8. NEW BUSINESS <br /> 25 <br /> 26 A. Resolution No. 90-019, Re: Lease for sale of pull tabs at Stonehouse <br /> �7 The City Attorney addressed the changes in the lease. These are requirements <br /> 28 of the State. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 The resolution only mentions that the Sports Boosters are included in the <br /> 31 lease and resolution. Mayor Pro-tem Ranallo inquired if the Chamber of Commerce <br /> 32 and Lions Club as. wgll are not participants in the lease. He was advised that <br /> 33 these other two groups are also included but the body of the lease had only <br /> 34 enough room to insert one organization name. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 The City Manager advised that the State has a rule that the owners of the <br /> 37 establishment involved in the lease and control of the establishment cannot <br /> 38 purchase pull tabs. This means that the Mayor, Council and the City Manager <br /> 39 <br /> 40 cannot buy pull tabs at the Stonehouse. <br /> ' <br /> 41 Motion by Ranallo, second by Makowske to approve adoption of Resolution No. <br /> 42 90-019. <br /> 43 <br /> 44 Roll call : Makowske, Enrooth, Ranallo - aye <br /> 45 Marks - nay <br /> 46 <br /> 47 Mayor Pro-tem Ranallo requested the list of those recipients of donations <br /> 48 from profits realized from the sale of pull. tabs. He stated that $4,000 <br /> 4.9 has already been received for the City's float and $9,000 was received <br /> 50 • <br />
