references required, citizenship status, the address and legal description of the <br /> premises to be licensed, the names of all owners of the premises and operator of the <br /> business, the period applicant has been in business at such location, and such other <br /> information as the Council may require from time to time. It is unlawful to make <br /> any false statement in the application. <br /> 1000.04 Fees. Applications for licenses must be accompanied by the license fee set <br /> forth in Section 600. All fees will be paid into the general fund of the City. Upon <br /> rejection of any application for a license, the amount paid will be refunded. <br /> 1000.05 Granting of Licenses. The Council may require an investigation to be made <br /> of the facts set forth in the application. After the investigation, the Council may <br /> grant or refuse the license in its discretion. All licensed premises must have the <br /> license posted in a conspicuous place at all times. <br /> 1000.06 Conditions of Licenses. <br /> Subd. 1 Conditions of Licenses. In addition to all applicable state laws, other <br /> provisions of this Section and any other applicable sections of this Code, all <br /> licenses are subject to the conditions set forth in the following subdivisions. <br /> Subd. 2 Issuance. A license will be issued only to a person qualified under • <br /> Minn. Stat..§340A.401 and who is the proprietor of the establishment for <br /> which the license is issued. <br /> Subd. 3 Convicts or Felons. No license may be granted to any person who <br /> has been convicted of a felony, or of any lesser violation of any federal law or <br /> regulation, or any law of Minnesota or any other state, or any municipal <br /> ordinance, if the lesser violation is one relating to manufacture or <br /> transportation of intoxicating liquors or beer. <br /> Subd. 4 Revocation and Suspension. Any revocation or suspension of a <br /> license will be dealt with in accordance with Minn. Stat. §340A.415. If a <br /> license is revoked for cause, no new license for the premises may be granted <br /> for at least one year after the revocation. <br /> Subd. 5 Premises Open to Inspection. All licensed premises will be open to <br /> inspection by any police or health officer or other properly designated officer <br /> or employee of the City, or any member of the Council, at any time during <br /> which the licensed premises are open to the public. <br /> Subd. 6 Gambles. No illegal gambling or illegal gambling device is <br /> permitted in any licensed premises. <br /> 10-2 <br />
